I'm lucky becuase I only have to work a four-day week, so Fridays I usually try expand my photography repetroire. I headed out toward Amity and McMinnville yesterday and on the way saw the turnoff to a wildlife area called Basket Slough. Of course it was sunny and 36 degrees and 11:00 a.m. but I spent almost two hours there watching Canadian geese, beavers, coots and birds. Hadn't planned to need my zoom so all I had was my 135mm f/2.0L (and a couple other lenses but of course, not the zoom). BEST VIEW LARGE SO YOU CAN SEE HIS LITTLE FEET AND RED TONGUE.
