With the Olympic Games taking place later this year, I remembered I had this. It is a Ten Mark piece. My friend and I were given one each as a keepsake from our time spent in Germany. They were minted for the Munich Olympics of 1972. Although Mark Spitz set a then record for winning 7 Gold medals, the games were overshadowed by the killing of 11 Israeli athletes. You cannot believe, that was 40 years ago this year
