It has been very cold the last days, today even -26C. Still more special, it has been snowing a lot in this very cold weather - I am more used to that it is cold and a clear sky.
When it is cold and snowing, street lamps get decorated with ice. This is a subject that I wanted to photograph for a long time - now eventually the nature and my timing conincided. And - tha camera still worked! I do not think that Canon promises operation at -26C...
A decision that I hope I will not regret: with this photo I will start a 1/52 project, posting one photo per week. I have been doing it anyway, so why not create a little further push for me. I will look for a suitable group to post these in - suggestions welcome! My photos can be anything: mostly new photos, but perhaps also I will start learning editing. I will keep this a low-stress project: if I cannot produce a photo some time, I'll just do it somewhat later.
Generally I do not learn post on blogs, however I would like to say that this write-up very pressured me to take a look at and do it! Your writing taste has been surprised me. Thanks, very great post.
