Dozens of reporters and protesters are outside the home of chief executive contender Henry Tang in York Road, which contains an illegal basement.
The unauthorised structures reportedly include a wine cellar, a wine tasting room, a gym, a home cinema, a Japanese bath, a changing room and a storeroom. However, Mr Tang has said the basement is just used for storage.
