We had rather a dramatic afternoon here today, Penny decided to maul two baby birds while I was hanging out the washing, much to my displeasure. Luckily, they were a pest kind and not a native species. She was totally confused about why I wasn't happy that she had two dead birds in her mouth and was, in fact, rather pleased with herself for the rest of the day.
