Hotel Ahrens in Marschacht, Niedersachsen, caught fire this morning at about 7am. Fire crews from all over the region arrived to battle the flames which took 130 firefighters over three hours to bring under control. The hotel was built in 1911 and is now only a hollow shell of its former self.
