"Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?"

catherine-emily has added a photo to the pool:

"Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?"

A philosopher once asked, "Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at them because we are human?" Pointless, really..."Do the stars gaze back?" Now *that's* a question.

The less colourful version is in comments.

So, I've been meaning to try this for months and I'm actually quite pleased with this as a first attempt. I could have spent longer on it, but then I would have started to resent it. & now I'm going to tuck myself into bed with my hot water bottle and read some more of 'The Adventure of English', by Melvyn Bragg. It's a good read, and wonderfully informative. & I got it signed.
