Here is to change, to who we used to be, and discovering who we are now. To going it alone. To finding light in the darkness. Struggle is beautiful. Change shapes we we are, change is a beauty of life.
I felt so free when I shot this, the sun's light was gracing the last ripples of the water, and it was so peaceful. For just a moment, the world was quiet.
I have come to this pond for the past 15 years of my life. For the past 15 years of my life I have been changing. I remember coming here at 5 and feeling like there was so much mystery beneath those waters, so much to seek and discover in this world. I have the hope that I will keep that curiosity for the rest of my life.
Someone ran by with their dogs and asked me if I was okay, (I think they were a bit worried about my sanity), and I just smiled back, "I'm great!". 47 degrees outside on a March summer night in Colorado, and I was so numb, but so free.
