As some of you may know, i've been seriously lacking motivation over the last month or so to the point the camera has never came out the bag.
Today whilst bored at work, it all flooded back to me just why I love photography, it's an expression of how I seen that particular moment in time, and when looking back through the photos, I recall how great it felt to be there to witness that said moment. I've seriously missed this feeling for quite some time now, so decided that I would work on a couple of shots from back when that feeling was there.
First port of call, the archives from St Marys Lighthouse, Whitley Bay. It was a spur of the moment idea to take a drive over one boring Sunday afternoon, and I am so glad I did, as it produced some of my favourite photos to date. I waited on the tide to come in, not knowing how high, or indeed low, it was going to be, and not been here before, I had no idea how it would turn out.....well, personally I found it pretty good for the shots I wanted, although some more crashing waves would have been nice too!
No pleasing some of us is there lol!
