Rare Quacks From the Past

gcampbellphoto has added a photo to the pool:

Rare Quacks From the Past

A selection of some of the rare and scarce ducks I have been lucky enough to see and photograph in Northern Ireland. Above is a wonderful male Blue winged Teal (unringed and full wing) which appeared near Strangford Lough in May 2006 for a few week, a drake Barrow's Goldeneye which graced the River Quoile for two winters 06/07 and 07/08, a drake Garganey which wintered on the River Lagan near Belfast City Centre for a few winters 06-07 and Ferruginous Duck on Lough Corbet in 2007. All were apparently wild and all great to see.
