Shannon, myself and his lovely partner Karen took off from Kirribilli to find a location which we didn't know the name of, but thought we could find very easily. Turns out that the location is called Mrs Macquaries Chair, and it isn't easy for out of towners to find - especially while the city is being shut down for a Triathlon.
So we thought the GPS Navigator would get us there ........... no ............ it almost went into melt down mode. We went through almost every tunnel in Sydney, and at one stage we were heading to West Suburbs. We detoured through Kings Cross, Pitt St and pretty much every other street and cross known in Sydney. 2.5 hours later, we still didn't find our spot, and decided to settle for the Opera House itself. BIG MISTAKE people. This is the car park side of the image name. We were there for 56 minutes ............ $35.00 parking costs. In big writing it says $9 for 1 hour. In very small writing it says Flat fee $35 for evenings ...... regardless of how long you are there. Wilsons Car Park ........ serious rip off merchants, what a business to have in Sydney. Must have over 100 cars in there ...... you do the math.
