If you have been diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer, then the image of these roses has been created for you. The prayer that follows is entitled "Three Directions". There are only two roses in this photo. You make up the third rose.
A person reaches in three directions:
Inward, to oneself
up,to God
out, to others.
The miracle of life is that
In truly reaching
In any one direction,
One embraces all three.
