Stuart Stevenson has added a photo to the pool:
Turnberry Lighthouse on the Ayrshire coast.
A 180 mile round trip after work on Monday, 40 minute walk out to this spot, nearly 2 hours standing in the sea mesmerised at what was going on before me, 40 minute walk back to the car in the now complete darkness, got home about 12.30am, download & quick look over the shots, back up for work 5hrs later… what a brilliant, brilliant evening!
This is a vertical panorama of two shots stitched together to try and catch more of the sky. The result is a huge file, so I've posted the light house at 100% in the comments. This is the shot that I think shows the best of the colour, although I have a few other keepers, with varying comps/exposure times. If you follow me on twitter, you'll have seen I was so excited about these shots, I posted a screenshot from the back of my camera here - it's not often conditions are quite so obliging in my experience :-)
