2012 is 60 years for Queen Elizabeth II, it is also 10 years since the Alfa GTA was released.
A member of the Alfa Owner forum managed to organize a couple of parade laps at Brands Hatch race circuit in Kent for the GTA's. The weather was awful, but having been to Brands Hatch for years, starting as a child with my Dad, it was great to drive around even if it was only behind a safety car at 50mph.
Brands Hatch is also the track that got me hooked into Alfa Romeos, coming here in the early/mid nineties with my Dad watching the Alfa 155 winning in the touring cars.
