With new moon (and Ramadhan) staring in the next day or two, here is the moon about 33 hours before official new moon. About 30 minutes before sunrise. 2% illuminated.

Note the new tsunami sirens in the foreground. They are going to be tested this coming Sunday morning (22/07/12).
