Almshouses: Stratford

Canis Major has added a photo to the pool:

Almshouses: Stratford

The famous row of almshouses in Chapel Street, Stratford-upon-Avon. Founded in the early 15th Century by the Guild of the Holy Cross for the town's elderly residents, they are currently in very good condition thanks to renovation work in the 1980's. At the far end is the tower of the Guild Chapel.
