Blake's Mum has added a photo to the pool:
One of a brood of seven on the pond in Bedford Park. The same adult pair have produced young for the past five or six years now.
You have to be on your guard when you walk past with your dog, as the protective parents are quite prone to leaping out of the water towards you, which is a bit disconcerting!
