Black Cat Photos has added a photo to the pool:
bit of a departure from puffins today
thanks to everyone who asked about the dog yesterday, just though id explain
lesson one – “don’t give dogs sticks”
my sisters dog (the one below) was playing with a stick and suddenly started bleeding from his mouth!
we went to one vet, who sent us to another vet hospital, where when they put a camera down his throat found he had ripped one of his tonsils off and broken a bone in his throat! – omg!
anyhoo he’s home now and doing much better – so fingers crossed for him
*** but for anyone with dogs – watch them with sticks – 2 vets have told me they recommend dogs dont play with sticks at all – and iv now heard much worse stories than ours! ***
Lesson two – "don’t walk dogs where there are burrs"
and a more light hearted story? . . . the above dog is my brother’s and we took him over to the common on sunday
when i arrived i saw oli’s car (oliver wright) with his dog in it – and he explained that the reason the dog was in the car was because of all the burrs – which i totally underestimated – as a few minutes later our dog looked like this!! (above shot)
he had burrs on all four paws which made him look like he was wearing slippers, then they were in his tail, in his bib, basically everywhere
i did apologise to my brother for breaking his dog as it took ages to comb (and cut!) all these out – ooops! - lesson learned!
