All that talk about moving waters made go look behind for some older snaps of waterfalls that I haven't had the time to process. And lo behold, I ran onto St. Mary Falls from our Glacier trip last year that was about 47 miles of masochism across mountain country.
The red rocks and blue waters provided an interesting contrast to the frame. It was late in the evening so the entire place was in shadows. This shot is a blend of 3 frames exposed for the white surf and the rocks (which were darker) separately.
I distinctly remember running onto a baby snake on the trail, that darted away on hearing my footsteps.
