One of the most spectacular gardens in Britain, Stowe Gardens in Buckinghamshire was acquired by the National Trust in the late 1980's and is now open to the public on most days of the year. It contains over 40 temples and monuments, visible in this panoramic view are (from left) Queen's Temple, Gothic Temple, Lord Cobham's Pillar and the Palladian Bridge.
