Although this looks as if it was shot from ground level (or even on the water) it was taken from the roof of Fort Point - the C19 building which sits beneath the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge. From here not only do you get a wonderful view of the bridge but you get to feel the strength of the wind forces which the bridge has to withstand almost constantly. It took me some time to creep close to the balustrade and hold myself steady enough to take this shot.
