Starting in Lincoln Park, east of Capitol Hill, Washington DC, USA, a dozen or so members of the Aryan Nations marched to the Reflecting Pool on the west lawn of the Capitol Building in a stated effort to bring attention to the "...abuse and genocide of white farmers in South Africa."
The Aryan Nations members were vastly outnumbered by myriad groups opposing race-based politics. The counter demonstrators marched in parallel to the Aryan Nations members, shouting them down and temporary blocking the streets on several occasions.
