Portovenere is a beautiful village situated into the gulf of poets in the Liguria coast. It's a very romantic place, with the typical medieval rock houses and a suggestive landscape. Every day, a lot of tourist visit it for the house-towers, of various colours, situated on parallel lines in front of the sea, the old alleys, the Genova castle and the St.Peter old church overhanging the sea. Very famouses are the gastronomical specialities and the wine.
