River reflections

rubberducky_me has added a photo to the pool:

This photo is not what I had intended on taking a shot of. It was getting late, and the tide in this river was just changing... making for still reflections. Several other compositional features presented themselves this day (a starfish that was on the side of the bank, tall paperbark trees), but they just didn't make the shot or were not accessible. This was the only shot i was satisfied with, but the reflections were still not quite perfect.
I didn't think this shot would be as balanced, but for some reason, i think it goes ok. I think with reflection photos, something needs to break up the reflections between background and foreground, otherwise it can look really artificial. I think the stepping stones help with this a bit.
I'm fairly certain it was too dark for my scneider lens at f36 to end up getting a shot, but i did attempt a 12 minute exposure. Fingers crossed it worked.
