Today, I headed down to Port Hope to take some shots of the salmon spawning. While I was on a small berm/island that popped up out of the water in the middle of the stream, shooting east, suddenly there was a huge calamity behind me. I spun to the west and fired off a couple shots of this salmon that was running right behind me. At the time I had a flash mounted and powered up which allowed me to stop the action with my 100-400mmL. I was very pleased when I checked the LCD.
