Sedge Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus)

gcampbellphoto (limited internet access) has added a photo to the pool:

Sedge Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus)

It's amazing to think that this little bird will, hopefully, be south of the Sahara in a few months time. It will spend the winter from Senegal in the west to Ethiopia in the east, and as far south as the eastern Cape Province of South Africa and northern Namibia. Studies have found that they are site faithful in winter returning to the same are each year.

Very limited access at the moment
