Beautiful Anse Sévère during Sunset. La Digue is such a wonderful island with so many spectacular beaches. This beach was just a short walk from our hotel and I visited a couple of times to photograph sunset. I'm sure I'll show you some more photos from there over the next time.
Here had to run around a bit to find the right position for the camera as I saw the clouds light up. I wanted to position the palm tree between the lines of clouds and in the end it worked out quite well. I used a lee 0.6 soft + hard gnd here for exposure balancing but also did bracketing. I used some of the bright exposure to blend in some details on the left and a bit of the dark exposure for the bright parts behind the palm tree.
A lot of detail work in the end, but somehow this seems to be the normal process currently. I've become a lot more critic over the last few months especially since I got the 5d mark ii. Now that I have so many megapix to work with I want them all shown of at their best.
I'm still not a 100% sure about this one, might take a look at it tomorrow and maybe add a little contrast. What do you think?

The entrance to the Muppet Stuff store at Disney's Hollywood Studios leaves no doubt as to which characters the shop is based around. By the way, it features Muppet merchandise, if you didn't know.
I always enjoy all the Muppet details all around the MuppetVision 3D area. One of my favorite details is the pair of Bunsen Honeydew glasses on the spherical thing on top of the soundstage building, which you can sort of see here.

One of the many Moai that never left the quarry at Rano Raraku where they were carved out of volcanic rock. Here they sit, thinking about what they´ll do tomorrow.

Lone Justice - 'I Found Love' This single was released in 1987. I thought Maria McKee looked beautiful on the cover of this record and I fell in love with her. Excellent band who I remember for the single 'Ways To Be Wicked' released in 1985. In many ways they were a sign of things to come as 80's British dominance of the worldwide music industry was starting to decline in this period and would soon be replaced by American bands.
